Education is a change in the mind, physical ability or character of a person thru an act or experience or revelation. A more technical description of education is the technique society has of handing down accumulated knowledge, values and skills to future generations.
Education of students is done thru educators or teachers at home or educational institutions from a vast array of subjects with reading, writing, mathematics, history and science being the basics.
Those teachers that specialize in certain professions such as law, medicine or physics at a higher learning center or institution may only teach a certain subject and are known as professors.
There is education for those with specific vocational skills such as a pilot or commercial truck driver at vocational schools and informal learning that can be found at libraries, museums, the internet and the many experiences we have in life.
One of our basic human rights is the right to education.
All signatory parties of the 1952 European Convention on Human Rights of Article2 where obliged to guarantee the right of education.
In 1966 The United Nations International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights guarantees the right to education under Article 13.
