Religion

The word religion is described as a belief or a set of beliefs connected to the cause, purpose, and nature of the universe that involves creation by a supernatural force that generally includes devotional and ritual practices which entail some type of moral law or code that controls the actions of the people.

Religion gives meaning to the participant's experiences in life thru the presented beliefs, symbolism, and practices.

Identification of religion is usually recognized by the participant's ritual, prayer, music, meditation, and art or other forms of distinction that are interconnected with politics and society regardless if the meaning revolves around a deity or deities or some perceived truth.

Religion may produce a set of religious laws, a particular lifestyle, and ethics from a certain focus on reality thru supernatural or metaphysical claims concerning human nature and the cosmos.

Religion is inclusive of religious experiences and personal faith as well as ancestral or cultural beliefs such as mythology, writings, and history.

The evolving of social and psychological roots, origins, and historical development has caused religion to take many forms in different cultures.
